A scrum master's role is to help teams be successful as well as being committed to the foundational elements of scrum but must remain flexible and open to opportunities for the team to improve their workflows. Must have strong skills and abilities in Scrum (CSM) & Project Management (PMP), experienced facilitator of daily scrum meetings, bi-weekly sprint planning, review, retrospective, backlog grooming meetings. Significant years of global experience and significant knowledge working with Healthcare, Supply Chain, Data Warehousing, Business Process Management (BPM) with Sequence workflow software, and a solid understanding of technical Experienced in delivering technical systems using an Agile approach. Strong focus on process improvement using retrospectives as well as an inspect and adapt mindset. To support enabling developers to be onboarded quickly and effectively in project teams, as well as creating a future roadmap for their individual success. Uses and promotes agile practices that are aligned with Cigna/ESI practices. Shares knowledge, coaches, and mentors team members for personal and team success. Works with Product Owners and Business Partners to enable effective delivery of software. Creating and onboarding project teams. Integrating teams into the organization. Providing a clear vision of the product. Collaborating with Product Owners and Project Managers to build the quarterly Program Increment (PI). Facilitating communication and information exchange between external groups and the project team. Implementing Scrum according to the Scrum Guide's definition. Assisting everyone in the scrum team for optimal performance in the scrum cycle. Ensuring that the team is cohesive. Defining a clear objective for each sprint. Following up on the progress of each team member. Getting buy-in from stakeholders for key deliverables. Conveying the business benefits of agile and scrum principles. Listening to and resolving stakeholder issues. Reassuring stakeholders. Closing the feedback loop. Ensuring that the team follows agile methodology. Making regular incremental progress. Effectively mobilizing and motivating the team. Keeping all stakeholders informed about the progress of deliverables. Facilitating team meetings and sprint ceremonies. Provide support to coaching individuals, and working to reduce barriers across geographically dispersed teams. Resolve the conflict of interest among team members and develop motivated individuals to meet the quality deliverables and timeline. Collaborate with other scrum masters to create consistent best practices within the organization. Experience in building Dashboards and Metrics reporting to analyze sprint performance. Keeping Software Engineering Managers informed of progress and highlighting potential risks early. Required Experience/Qualifications: Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries. College degree preferred but not required. Experience with Project Management and managing multiple teams of 10 or more people. 10 or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of three years' experience application program development, or the equivalent in education and work experience. Understanding of application frameworks such as .NET, Java, BPM frameworks such as Pega. Experience with the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) as implemented in Waterfall and Agile. Nice to have experience as a developer with C#, .NET, & SQL Server, BPM & Workflow software Sequence. Ideal candidate will have relevant experience either as a consultant or working for a start-up company. CSM Certification preferred. PMP Certification preferred.
