Purpose
We are currently seeking a Software Engineer versed in Golang and specialized in API development to join our dynamic team of engineers dedicated to enhancing our safety and security platform. In this role, you will play a key part in the hands-on design, development, testing and deployment of backend software systems. This includes crafting API endpoints, implementing cloud functions, and event management systems.
Position Responsibilities
Hands-on contribution solving medium-complexity software engineering problems
Building and maintaining a suite of Golang services
Supports junior team member in solving medium-complexity software engineering problems
Lead the implementation of small and medium projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
Support an Agile delivery process
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in backend Software Engineering
Expertise in Golang programming
Comfortable learning new skills and technologies
Familiarity with unit testing concepts and practices
Familiarity with DevOps enablement concepts and practices
Familiarity with API patterns and service oriented architecture
Agile process experience
Strong communication skills
Start up team experience is a plus
Experience in JavaScript and Node.js
Familiarity with event driven architecture
Agile process experience
Collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively
