Job summary
Immediate opening for an energetic, motivated Siding Inspector- Project ManagerResponsible for understanding the installation requirements of various siding typesTechnical position to support architectural and engineering projects
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Monitoring the contractor work for conformance to project specifications• Working as our client's representative on site during work• Reviewing contractor invoices, change orders, RFI's, construction documents, etc.• Understanding the specifications, conducting on-site inspections, and documenting existing conditions• Maintaining organized records, files, drawings, or other data essential to the project• Assisting in cost projections based on work completed to date• Preparing written correspondence for clients, contractors, etc.• Working closely with teams to ensure project success• Performing other related duties as assigned
Requirements
• Thorough understanding of siding installation details for various siding types• 3-5 years of experience in the construction/architectural/engineering consulting industry• Experience with wood framing systems, stucco, EIFS, decks, balconies is a plus• Valid United States Driver's License required• Standard written and verbal communication skills• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects• Ability to interact in a professional manner with clients and colleagues• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings & detail specifications• Ability to work individually or with team members• Ability to work in the field and travel when needed• Ability to manage time and stay within project budget
