Works under the direction of a foreman and crew leader, loads the finished product.
Functional Requirements:
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift, Always maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Qualification Standards: Preferably one (1) to two (2) years of experience in specified skill Pre-employment/post-employment qualification test Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation Turner Industries Group/Job site orientation/Hazard Communication and required tests Jobsite "Personal Protective Equipment" requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses - OSHA approved Z87 if applicable, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.) Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or
others in the workplace Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Interprets sketches Responsible for loading the finished product in a safe manner Inspects nylon slings Uses hand signals to communicate with crane operator Stays alert and aware of surroundings Helps in other areas of shipping when needed Performs a daily inspection of all tools and equipment used Physical Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and
below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all
directions, handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes,
hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level,
and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools equipment, etc.; standing; sitting; walking; pushing; pulling;
bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; crawling; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or
without correction
Mental Involvement:
Employee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards; applying basic
mathematical skills; planning work and selecting proper tools; comparing and understanding differences
