Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com.This role in summaryCurrently, we are seeking qualified candidates for a Shared Services Senior Representative - Credit Underwriting opening to join our TPFS Credit organization. The Shared Services Senior Representative fosters relationships with trade customers supporting Whirlpool's Brand Value Creation, Every Home Everywhere, and business strategy. This position will report to a Shared Services Team Advisor within the Trade Partner Financial Services (TPFS) organization.  The Shared Services Senior Representative will be performing credit underwriting, analyzing financial statements, managing customer relationships, collaborating with the sales and collections teams, managing credit risk for the company, and administering credit policies and standards. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to interface with trade customers, field sales, credit/accounts receivable management, and Customer Master teams to develop plans and processes to ensure relationships optimize sales and cash flow.Your responsibilities will includeReview and write up extensions of credit for customers.Review and analyze financial, income and cash flow statements.Ensure credit approvals are completed and maintained in compliance with policies.Pull and review internal and external credit reports/references.Negotiate collateral positions to mediate risk.File and maintain Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) liens and Preliminary (Prelim) filings.Minimum requirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business (or degree in process with anticipated completion Spring 2024 in Finance, Accounting or Business)6+ months of experience in Accounting, Finance or Contract Review (inclusive of academic, internship/co-op or professional work)Preferred skills and experiencesExcellent customer service and communication skills.High aptitude for mathematics and accounting.Beyond basic understanding of financial statement analysis and interpretation.Intermediate skills in Google Applications, Excel, SAP, and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to manage multiple projects on a tight timeline.Knowledge of UCC-1 process.RSRWHAdditional informationWhirlpool's Ways of WorkingOur goal is to provide an environment that helps you bring your best to Whirlpool every day.
