Senior Traffic Engineer
to join our office in Columbus, OH.
B&N Senior Traffic Engineer Responsibilities
Lead traffic studies and traffic analysis projects
Manage and coordinate project drawings using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software
Opportunity to collaborate and support staff across the firm
Develop and mentor less experienced traffic engineering staff
Create an exemplary client experience throughout the project delivery
Maintain quality control of services and deliverables
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited civil engineering program
PE registration in the State of Ohio, or ability to be registered with reciprocity, PTOE desirable
10+ years of related traffic operations/studies
Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microstation and/or AutoCAD
Proficient with traffic engineering analysis software (HCS, Synchro, Sidra); Vissim and TransModeler experience is beneficial
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as collaborate in a team environment
Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
