The Oregon Lottery is looking for (1) Senior Retail Contracts Specialist, working in a hybrid capacity where you will visit the Salem HQ approximately two times per week. About the Role The Senior Retail Contract Specialist will report to the Supervisor of Retail Contracts as part of the Retail Contracts team. You will apply a knowledge of retail application and contract requirements to a variety of situations that arise in the processing and administration of Retail Contracts. You will coordinate with applicants completing the sale of business process, research and document contract violations.
You Will: Apply Lottery Management Core Values and Expectations in performing daily activities. Ensure conduct embodies the principles of fairness, integrity, security, and honesty. Support and integrate into your role the Lottery's commitment to: Responsible Gambling, DEIB, and a Culture of Safety
Review and make recommendations to the Director on prospective retailer applications.
Initiate the decision-making process of the Retailer Contract Application.
Coordinate the Sale of Business process for applicants.
Analyze findings from the Oregon State Police Security Section background investigation and determine the next course of action.
Respond to inquiries regarding retailer contract decisions, application process, explanation of rules, and underlying issues for specific recommendations.
Draft correspondence for retailers and creates reports for the Oregon Lottery Commission as it pertains to retailer applications and contracts.
Initiate compliance actions based on information received from internal departments and other state agencies.
Communicate an appropriate course of action with retailers, prepares proper documentation, and make resolution or termination recommendations to the Director.
You Have: Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree and three (3) years of analytical and customer service experience working in a regulatory environment; OR Five (5) years of analytical and customer service experience working in a regulatory environment.
