Responsible for design, integration, and implementation of applications software in a Cloud service provider environment that supports the company business strategies and objectives. Provide input and direction to solutions for client requirements. Identify and implement both technical and process improvements and solutions. Maintain a broad knowledge of new technology, equipment, and systems. Perform complex programming assignments requiring an advanced aptitude of established programming standards, methods, and best practices. Assist in designing application for large-sized development projects. Train and share knowledge with development teams. Assist with various projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work. Mentor and coach developers and/or Professional Apprentices. Maintain and modify web applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Assist in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required. Conduct research into new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks. Teleworking permitted.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field of study and five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer or closely related occupation.
Special Skills: Also requires experience in the following:
· Five (5) years IT experience;
· Five (5) years Software Development Lifecycle;
· Five (5) years object-oriented development experience;
· Developing applications in the Cloud;
· RESTful API development;
· Source code control systems;
· Full stack web application development; and
· HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
