Senior Accountant

Job summary
This is a Senior Accountant position in Torrance, CAThe work schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-5pmThe pay range is $35-40/hr

Responsibilities
• Manage accounting records and follow financial procedures• Reconcile general ledger and bank reconciliations• Prepare documentation for External Auditors• Analyze financial transactions for discrepancies• Contribute to annual audits• Reconcile accounts monthly for accurate reporting• Manage payroll for the institution• Support development of the budget and management reporting
Requirements
• Minimum education qualification: BS DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING OR FINANCE• Minimum experience: 7-10 years of experience• MBA/CPA Preferred• Other job specific skills: Fixed asset experience, Tax experience, Analytical skills, Process optimization
