Senior Accountant

AccountantKey Responsibilities:•Accurate and timely financial reporting•Compliance with Company Financial Standards•Preparation of financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements•3-5 Direct reports•Monitoring the company's financial reports and processes•Determining ways to reduce company costs•Understanding the financials of the company in order to meet legal requirements and keep the financial states in good standings•Managing and reporting on all aspects of the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, equipment costing and job costs•Responsible for all monthly and quarterly reports for sales tax, union reporting, workers compensation and job costs•Regularly interface with owners and the CPA in preparation of independently reviewed financial statements•Reconcile and maintain applicable general ledger accounts•Payroll Administration and Support•Coordinate audits•Perform other duties as assignedSkill, Capability, and Educational Requirements:•Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field•Intermediate MS Office skills•Experience with payroll or payroll support
