Job Overview - Senior AccountantJoin our client's dynamic team as a Senior Accountant and play a pivotal role in the financial operations of our fintech company. Compensation: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00Location: Montgomery County, PA - Hybrid
Responsibilities as the Senior Accountant include:Record and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses.
Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and support as required.
Continuously evaluate and improve accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications of the Senior Accountant include:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in the fintech industry.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
