Senior Accountant Location: 2000 Health Park Dr. Brentwood, TN 37027
Schedule: Must be willing to work in office 3 days a week (remotely on Mondays and Fridays)
About the Role: We are searching for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of contract administration, supporting management with operational reporting, and holding responsibility for financial statements used by leadership.
Responsibilities: Coordinate and review the work of the staff accounting team Review monthly journal entries and account analysis for accuracy Compose month-over-month market variance explanations Interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders Review monthly balance sheet account reconciliations Review and approve requests for Provider payments Mentor and lead a team of accountants Provide technical trainings for your team Meet department deadlines with professionalism Build and maintain relationships with peers, field teams, and hospital teams Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement Ideal Candidate: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in Accounting or a related business field 5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills Self-starter with a strong work ethic Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong communication skills A task-oriented individual who can take initiative and ownership Additional Information: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
