The Bilingual Security Manager is responsible for security, facility/safety issues and exposures throughout all Rain Bird operations. Advises management on security, facilities, and safety issues.
Implement Rain Bird's physical security initiatives and operations for all the company locations. Conduct on-site risk, security, and compliance assessments; develop action plans to enhance operational security. Oversee security processes and policies to reduce risk, respond to incidents and limit exposure and liability in all areas of physical risk. Manage camera/CCTV and access control software (ACS), and continually explore ways to automate security processes. Monitor, audit, and evaluate security operations to assess/mitigate risk on a regular basis. Generate reports with metrics (KPIs) to assess security program progression. Conduct and supervise internal and external investigations of any losses, violations of applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Manage the Rain Bird's Violence Prevention process. Design and implement a security awareness training program. Oversee the travel security program and country specific risks for Rain Bird's employees in all geographies. Coordinate the global fire/burglar alarm programs and ensure appropriate service levels from vendors. Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with CTPAT requirements. Bachelor's degree in related field. 10 + years of experience in loss prevention, corporate security or law enforcement. Bilingual (English/Spanish) DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience assessing, selecting, and maintaining relevant technology (e.g. surveillance equipment, locks, modernized ACS). Experience building and elevating security awareness in a global organization. Professional Security Certification, e.g. Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Interview course accreditation (i.e. Reid, Wicklander-Zulawski, PEACE, etc.).
