Responsibilities
• Provide academic instruction to differential learners in the LifeWorks School setting• Monitor student academic achievement through grades, observation, and other quantitative methods• Monitor student's IEP (if applicable) and address goals and objectives• Manage classroom behavior through level system, S.M.A.R.T. Program, and Classroom Discipline Plan
Requirements
• Bachelor's level degree in Education, with current content area teaching certification required• Experience/certification in Special Education is preferred• Prior experience working with students with behavioral health challenges within a school setting is highly desirable
