Nesco Resource is hiring a Sales Representative in the Danbury area for a full time direct hire role. JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sales Representative is responsible for growing relationships with key customers in
the defense and commercial markets as well as develop new opportunities for our client's products and services. This individual will identify, pursue and close on opportunities in assigned territory of manufactureelectronic products on a turnkey or consigned material basis. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES : Develop and maintain profitable relationships with complex clients and key accounts. Follow up and report on supplied leads in a timely manner. Identify, organize and attend industry trade shows. Prepare and timely submit key reports. Set and achieve sales quotas and volume territory goals. Identify emerging markets to find new sales opportunities. Develop strategies for closing orders and implement to customers. Travel as required. Other duties and/or special projects may be assigned as required. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A bachelor's degree in sales and marketing or business management from an accredited university or minimum 5 years sales experience preferably in electronics. Master's degree in business administration or marketing a plus, but not required. Must understand technical aspects of products with the ability to collect detailed specifications. Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively. Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Experience using CRM to manage the sales process and forecast sales. Strong analytical skills needed to identify trends and sales patterns. Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy. Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives. Planning, organization and problem-solving skills. Advanced time management skills. Must be able to coordinate a range of projects under a variety of conditions and constraints. High proficiency with MS office and experienced with CRM software.
