B2B Sales Manager
Location: Louisburg, NC (Remote with extensive travel)
We are seeking a talented B2B Sales Manager to join our client partner's team. In this role, you will lead and inspire our business-to-business (B2B) sales team to achieve exceptional results. Your responsibilities will include devising strategic plans, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the overall success of our B2B sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and execute effective B2B sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Collaborate with senior management to set sales targets aligned with company objectives.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing B2B sales team.
Provide leadership and guidance to ensure individual and team success.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as needed.
Client Acquisition and Retention:
Lead efforts in acquiring new B2B clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
Implement strategies to enhance client retention and satisfaction.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets.
Prepare regular and accurate sales reports for senior management.
Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other teams to align B2B sales efforts.
Communicate market trends and customer feedback to relevant departments.
Sales Training and Development:
Implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the B2B sales team.
Stay updated on industry trends and provide ongoing education to the team.
Contract Negotiation:
Oversee contract negotiations with B2B clients, ensuring favorable terms.
Work with the legal team to ensure compliance with regulations and resolve any issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Proven experience in B2B sales leadership with a track record of meeting targets.
Strong understanding of B2B sales strategies, techniques, and trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Priority, Monday.com) and other sales management tools.
Sales experience in industrial manufacturing is a plus, particularly in foam/plastics.
