Job Title: Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be a pivotal individual contributor reporting to the VP of Business Development. Your role is critical in expanding our market presence and converting prospects into sales opportunities for our company. With our strong growth trajectory in the fulfillment and logistics sector, you'll play a key role in elevating our standing as an industry leader.
You'll collaborate closely with the direct sales team to ensure a seamless transition of opportunities. Your success will be gauged by your ability to generate opportunities, and you'll have the flexibility to cultivate your own book of business. We encourage account development through various avenues such as outbound prospecting, social selling, networking, attending trade shows and field marketing events, and any other sales activity contributing to the expansion of our brand. In summary, you'll be the initial point of contact with potential customers and will significantly impact our success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.
Contact and qualify potential customers, guiding them through the sales pipeline.
Schedule appointments and follow up on leads to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales team to devise and execute strategies for reaching sales targets.
Efficiently manage leads and sales activities using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Stay abreast of market trends, competition, and industry developments to remain competitive.
Assist in developing product marketing materials for customer presentations and sales support.
Streamline processes and materials to support an increasing number of sales lead conversations.
Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.

Requirements:
Job Qualifications:
0-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer service, with a proven track record of success.
Self-starter and problem solver.
Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
Solid knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and adaptability to change in a dynamic sales environment.
Startup and account-based selling experience is a plus but not required.
Experience in 3PL or fulfillment is a plus but not required.
Work Environment:
Remote position with frequent travel.
Employment Considerations:
Satisfactory results of background and reference checks.
Proficiency testing in Microsoft Office applications.
