Assistant Project Manager - Custom Residential Home Builder

Assistant Project Manager Responsibilities:
* Support the project manager in planning, organizing, and overseeing residential construction projects from initiation to completion.
* Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
* Assist in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
* Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, proposing solutions to mitigate them.
* Maintain accurate documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
* Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to ensure adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
* Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables.
Assistant Project Manager Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
* Previous experience in residential construction or project management roles.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction best practices.
