FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY FOR AN ENTHUSIASTIC REMOTE SENIOR TRANSPORTATION SALES MANAGER
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic SALES MANAGER to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* -Identify and vet potential carriers to build a network of reliable service providers
* -Generate leads, set appointments and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels
* -Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer base to further develop account potential
* -Meet or exceed sales goals
* -Professional presentation skills
REQUIREMENTS
* -Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar role
* -Have the ability to mentor a team of sales managers
* -Have at least 5 years of leadership experience
* -Experience must be in Transportation/Logistics
* -Problem solving skills
* -Excellent Customer service skills
* -Ability to work independently
* -Internet and phone for remote work
* -Detail oriented and well organized
* -Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
* -Strong Industry relationships a must
* -Ability to travel occasionally
* -May be required to travel to office occasionally
* -Ability to negotiate shipping rates with shippers and carriers
