To oversee the care of clients and monitor aides, perform nursing assessments, and write, monitor, and update care plans for clientsPrimary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Complete all documentation for nursing assessments, observations, and planning evaluation pertaining to clientsEvaluate clients on a regular basis and/or as necessary to ensure client needs are consistent with the care planCoordinate with management on implementing and revising operational procedures related to quality client careUtilize professional assessment skills to identify physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of client and be able to develop a care plan to meet these needs in a multi-disciplinary approachFunction as a resource and mentor to peers and subordinates to maintain professional nursing standardsAct on client's behalf to assure patient rightsBe aware of home safety issues, strive to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner, and consistently reinforce good safety attitude and practices displayed by other staff membersRespond promptly to any client complaints concerning a caregiver, document complaints, review complaints with the scheduling team, and take appropriate action with the caregiverCoach all staff in proper safety procedures and consistently reinforceQualificationsAble to work as a team memberAble to maintain confidential informationAble to communicate effectively with the company staff, the clients, and clients' familiesAble to handle occasional physical and verbal mistreatment from clients in an appropriate professional manner at all timesAble to supervise (instruct, assign work, etc.) nursing assistantsExcellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, and possess excellent client interaction skillsAble to multi-task and work independentlyEducation and ExperienceBachelor of science in nursingCurrent RN licensureCPR certificationMust maintain CEU requirements as required by the Board of NursingAREAS WE SERVE: Kennesaw, Acworth, Marietta, Powders Springs, Austell
