Regional Sales Manager - Lidar Solutions (Western North America)
We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Western North America, focusing on Lidar Solutions. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in exceeding global sales targets, both through channel sales and direct sales efforts. Leveraging existing relationships while forging new ones, you will spearhead strategies to ensure our market success. Your expertise in Airborne Lidar and Remote Sensing operations coupled with sales acumen will be instrumental in crafting and executing forward-thinking sales strategies. Covering the Western region of North America, including the Western US and Canada, you will be responsible for consolidating accurate weekly forecasts and pipeline reports for major customers. Collaboration with our sales team, both direct and indirect, is paramount to our overall business triumph. Your role will encompass sales of hardware, software, subscriptions, and annual maintenance plans across the region.
Responsibilities:
Exceed direct and channel sales targets for the assigned region.
Collaborate closely with the North American sales team and customers to ensure targets are met.
Maintain and present accurate forecasts and pipelines on a regular basis.
Implement and standardize direct and indirect channel programs, including distribution to reseller models and defining KPIs.
Contribute significantly to the development and execution of long-term regional go-to-market strategies.
Partner with Marketing and Product Management to execute campaigns and programs for optimal pipeline creation and deal conversions.
Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the global go-to-market team.
Work with customer success leadership to ensure proper support for customers and regional partners throughout the customer lifecycle.
Ensure partner contracts align with business goals for mutual success.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, finance, and marketing to drive commercial efforts on key business initiatives.
Actively promote solutions through various channels including visits, presentations, and attendance at industry events.
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in technical sales, preferably selling airborne/remote sensing solutions in relevant markets such as Airborne Mapping, Utilities, Forestry, Infrastructure, or Construction.
Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in operations of airborne Lidar/photogrammetry/remote sensing systems is advantageous.
Proficiency in managing pipelines and forecasts within a CRM system.
Strong collaboration skills across multiple organizations and functions.
Knowledge of Point Cloud data workflow with experience in data processing is desirable.
Ability to craft compelling proposals and deliver engaging presentations, including public speaking engagements.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required.
Team-oriented mindset with strong work ethics.
Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 50% of the time.
Strategic, critical thinker with persuasive abilities and excellent organizational skills.
