Responsibilities
• Maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment• Inspect and repair malfunctions in various equipment• Assist with major repairs and construction of plant buildings• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area• Participate in training and assist with Hazmat team execution• Train maintenance employees• Assist with fabrication of equipment used for processing and packaging• Conduct duties in compliance with company policies and procedures• Adhere to facility's Safe Work practices• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
Requirements
• High School Diploma or equivalent required• Two-year degree in specialized maintenance trade preferred• 1-3 years of related experience• Knowledge of refrigeration maintenance, boilers, and ammonia compressors• Ability to obtain boiler license• Advanced Electrical and Maintenance knowledge/experience required• Ability to read and interpret documents• Ability to complete work orders and required paperwork• Mechanical knowledge and ability to expand job-related skills• Basic computer skills including SAP Maintenance Module• Ability to obtain a valid forklift license• Good problem-solving skills• Ability to comply with general safety policies and procedures• Must be able to lift ninety (90) lbs.
