Recruiter Remote (Irvine, CA) Contract to Hire Job ID ******** We are looking for a recruiter for a remote, contract to hire opportunity based in Irvine, CA.
This person will be responsible for the recruitment and placement of employees as well as proposing and developing effective recruitment strategies.
Job duties may range from screening candidates and conducting interviews; performing background checks and providing orientation to new employees; researching and generating leads in order to effectively meet recruitment goals.
The recruiter performs independently and coordinates recruitment efforts while serving as primary point of contact and ensures compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 2 years of related experience Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Experience in use of social media for recruitment purposes. Essential duties: Collaborates with the management team of Operations and Recruitment for recruitment needs of the restaurants (both existing and new) and creates action plans to meet hiring goals in timely manner. Creates and places job postings for new and existing company positions. Ensures legal compliance and validity of recruitment and related activities by educating managers, supervisors and staff on policies and procedures; maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, job fairs, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; provides organization information, opportunities, and benefits; makes presentations; maintains rapport. Interfaces and collaborates with store management to fill store openings; examines hiring process and modifies recruitment strategy based on needs. Coordinates new hire orientations and other training for new and replacement positions at (new) stores and corporate level. Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites. Attends recruitment events as deems necessary. Determines qualifications by interviewing applicants and verifying references. Follows up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruitment plans and recommends strategies to improve process and operations. Builds a quality relationship with internal customers and external recruitment agencies. Prepares and delivers weekly update recruitment reports at Recruitment Department meetings. Acts as a point of contact for store managers regarding recruitment topics. Travels to store openings to recruit and on-board new employees. Temporary duties: Works directly with Recruiters and Training Department to ensure compliance such as: Food Handler, Alcohol and required certifications for all NSO openings. Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; when necessary, arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorts applicant to interviews; arranges restaurant tours. Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers, interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications. Consults appropriate salary placements and offer details with hiring managers. To perform this job successfully, this individual should demonstrate the competencies in problem solving and oral/written communication. Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA: $80,000 to $125,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
