Job Summary:The Jim Norton Ford dealership in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Reconditioning Used Car Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for the reconditioning process of our used car inventory to ensure they meet dealership and customer standards. This is a full-time position for an individual contributor who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and providing exceptional customer service.Compensation & Benefits:Extremely aggressive pay rate based on experience.Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.401k retirement plan.Paid vacation and sick time.Opportunities for career advancement and ongoing training.Responsibilities:Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on used cars.Perform vehicle reconditioning tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and other maintenance and repair services as needed.Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on used cars and ensure all issues are addressed and resolved to meet dealership and customer standards.Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed using dealership software and documentation.Communicate effectively with service advisors and other technicians to prioritize workload and efficiently complete client repairs.Follow all safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repairs.Must have own tools and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete tasks within designated timelines.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.EEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
