Receivables Specialist Location Portland, OR (Downtown area) : Receivables Specialist - Portland ? Schwabe is a leading Pacific Northwest law firm across four states. We are seeking a team member to ?join our Accounting department to help us better serve our clients. ?
This position will be located in our Portland office. This role will work in the Portland office 3 days per ?week with options to work remote Monday & Friday. ?
Responsibilities include: ?
Accurately process payments from multiple sources daily Perform extensive research and inquiry necessary to process a portion of the daily payments Promptly process refund and book transfer requests Respond to incoming calls and email messages for receivables team Assist in processing appeals for reductions made on invoices Maintain accurate receipt records ? Assist Accounts Receivable team as needed Research and resolve account discrepancies in a timely manner ? Learn various technology platforms Multi-task various duties Spreadsheet creation and maintenance Assist in developing process improvement checklists and manuals for specific practice areas Resolve and appeal issues with reduced e-bills while meeting required deadlines Assist with other projects as needed Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: ?
Efficient multitasking and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical, quantitative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills Strong interaction with senior management ? Work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work well under pressure ?
