What you'll do Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
Create the strategy for the Supply Chain departments to achieve all project milestones and deliverables, with clear roles and responsibilities defined for each team, including supplier readiness, part approval, sourcing status, and relevant financial targets. Drive communication across the Supply Chain departments, ensuring that key performance indicators are reported on a weekly basis and gaps to the project plan have measures in place to reduce risk to the project. Responsible for reporting the overall status of the project to senior management within Supply Chain department, Product Steering Committee, and other top-level committees. Lead the team to work cross-functionally with Product Teams in support of pre-series requirements, achievement of milestones Lead the team during the pre-production phase, ensuring that all industrialization at suppliers achieve the project requirements in terms of timing, cost, and quality. Support buyers in communicating sourcing strategies, pre-production phase, evaluate technical changes to parts/services, and tracking that cost, quality and deliver objectives are met. Lead cross-functional communication with Scout Quality, Engineering, and Production teams. Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

1- 7 years in purchasing environment with experience developing and executing procurement category strategies A reputation for developing and nurturing excellent stakeholder and partner supplier relationships Experience managing supplier performance Program management experience Thorough knowledge of automotive, manufacturing or related industries Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization Proactivity, initiative and the ability to work across multiple workstreams A passion for creating something new Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems A collaborative approach - working as a team to achieve ambitious goals What you'll gain The benefits of joining Scout include the chance to build products and a company from the ground up . Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $95,000-$115,000
