Property Manager

ATARID Specialist Recruiters to the Property and Asset Management Industry are seeking experienced candidates on behalf of our Client, a manager and developer of affordable housing:
Title: Property Manager -Affordable Housing
Job Summary: Responsible for an affordable housing property, dealing with LIHTC, Section 8, HOME and other local and federal programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Responsible for the management of a small affordable housing property
-Manage maintenance supervisor and resident services coordinator
-Ensure property is in compliance with regulatory programs
-Rent collection, making sure that procedures are followed
-Prepare and administer marketing plans and ensure highest level of occupancy is maintained
-Ensure sufficient resident programs are available to the residents
-Prepare and monitor operating and capital budgets
-Ensure all preventative maintenance is prioritized and scheduled
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience managing affordable housing properties including knowledge of Low Income Housing Tax Credit and Section 8
-Excellent organization, and time management skills
-Current on all applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing, Tenant and Landlords, Low Income Tax Credit, HUD and other programs
-Good customer service skills and written/verbal communication
-Proficient in Microsoft 365 and property management software
Location: Newton, MA
Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 Commensurate with Experience; Comprehensive Benefits Package: Medical, 401K, Vacation, Holidays
