Job Title: Project Manager - Underground Water & Utilities

Position Overview: As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of underground water and utilities, pump station, and sewer projects for municipal clients. With a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency, you will lead project teams to deliver successful outcomes while ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, in collaboration with the client and internal stakeholders.
* Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
* Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineers, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, to achieve project goals and deliverables.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
* Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project expenses, track costs against budget allocations, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize project profitability.
* Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold the company's standards and exceed client expectations for workmanship and construction quality.
* Schedule Management: Oversee project schedules, milestones, and critical path activities to ensure timely project completion and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, including assessing impacts, negotiating change orders, and obtaining client approvals as needed.
* Submittals and Documentation: Ensure timely submission of project submittals, approvals, and documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and record drawings, to support project closeout and client acceptance.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, permits, and codes governing underground water and utilities, pump station, and sewer construction projects.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a focus on underground water and utilities, pump station, and sewer construction projects.
* Proven track record of successfully managing municipal projects, with experience working with government clients preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
* Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment used in underground infrastructure projects.
Compensation:
* Competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $140,000, commensurate with experience.
* Additional benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
