Project Manager - Commercial Construction

The Project Manager provides leadership for commercial and/or light industrial projects.They oversee all aspects and phases of the construction project.Strong leadership, time management, problem solving, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Estimating during the Preconstruction phase.• Lead, oversee, and coordinate all aspects of the ground up construction project.• Responsible for financial forecasting, owner billings, and risk mitigation.• Review and negotiate contracts and proposals.• Forecast project staffing needs and develop CPM schedule.• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and project QA/QC.• Evaluate progress and prepare project reports.• Assist in permitting processes.• Lead constructability reviews and subcontract procurement.• Manage contract administration and project close-out process.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in construction science/management or engineering.• 5 years of commercial construction ground up Project Manager experience.• In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and management principles.• Fluency with construction scheduling and project management software.
