for faster processing! We are seeking a Project Estimator for a key energy and utilities client of ours for a Power Plant in Salem, NJ. The Project Estimator will provide project related estimating services in all field of project construction (civil, mechanical, electrical). This requires an individual with a strong will to learn estimating practices who brings a good understanding of engineering basics, project management, and construction methods, along with a basic understanding of power plant systems.
Acts in a consulting and collaborative fashion with the Project Team and subject matter experts to review and understand new project designs, installation strategies, and risk mitigation. Hybrid position which requires on site time 2-3 days a week in Salem, NJ. Prepare reliable project cost estimates at various levels of certainty Review project scope and risks to develop mitigation costs Evaluate installation and constructability options Consult with various project team members Support interface with various vendors
