We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Civil Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on moderately complex projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership abilities, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Direction:
Receive general instruction on key objectives and direction as needed.
Collaborate with senior engineers, clients, subcontractors, and design teams on moderately complex project issues.
Provide guidance and review work produced by junior staff for quality assurance.
Operational and Company Level:
Work closely with senior engineers and stakeholders on project execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute civil design approaches for large land/site development projects.
Do the Work:
Conceptualize initial civil design approaches for assigned project phases.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of project work.
Complete civil engineering tasks for assigned phases of large land/site development.
Utilize computer-aided software for design work and calculations.
Make design recommendations, adaptations, and modifications as necessary.
Assist in the development of plans, specifications, and reports.
Provide technical assistance in resolving design problems and conducting field investigations or inspections.
Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Review plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.

Education, Experience, and Technical Requirements:
Enrolled in or completed coursework in Civil Engineering or related field.
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
EIT certification and/or progress toward earning Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
Three or more years of experience in civil engineering; land/site development industry preferred.
Proficiency in civil engineering design software and applications.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and other relevant software preferred.
Familiarity with zoning, development standards, compliance matters, and regulations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
Eligible for remote work arrangements.
Professional office environment with occasional mobility around job/construction sites.
Use of standard office equipment.
Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds.
Mobility and occasional physical exertion may be required on construction sites.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 67,000.00 89,000.00 Per Year
