Position Overview: As a Project Engineer I at ShearLock Engineering, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects in the commercial and residential sectors. You will work closely with our experienced engineers to create structures that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also stand the test of time.
Key Responsibilities: Participate in the analysis and design of structural systems for a wide range of projects using various materials and ensuring they meet code. Develop structural calculations and collaborate on the creation of detailed drawings and models using state-of-the-art CAD software. Conduct site visits and document structural observations for projects as required. Engage with clients and design teams to deliver projects that align with our mission of innovative structural design. Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation and proposals for clients, showcasing our commitment to delivering exceptional service. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. EIT certification or the ambition to achieve it within the first year of employment. A strong foundation in CAD software and a willingness to embrace new technologies and methodologies. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills that reflect our innovative approach to structural challenges.
