Commercial Construction Project Engineer Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time
Experience: 2 years of project engineering experience within commercial construction Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing various aspects of commercial construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
3. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
4. Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
5. Prepare and submit project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals.
6. Track project expenses and maintain accurate cost reports.
7. Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
8. Communicate effectively with project team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
9. Assist in resolving construction-related conflicts and disputes.
10. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
2. 2 years of experience in project engineering within the commercial construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
4. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
