The Production Operator is responsible for processes that utilize both batch and continuous operations. We are seeking Chemical Plant Operators that have both operational and technical experience. The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong safety and environmental performance. Examples of operational duties include; operating the DCS, issuing permits, sampling, troubleshooting, preparing equipment for maintenance and subsequent operation, and inspections. Assure standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.
Perform Work Permitting process and prepare equipment for daily maintenance activities.
Train new employees on unit activities.
Utilize Microsoft Office software, Process Distributive Control Systems (DCS) and other computer software.
Work with potentially hazardous materials, at high elevations, in confined spaces, and outdoors in all types of weather.

High School Diploma or GED required.
3 years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
A valid driver's license (possess and maintain).
Honeywell TDC 3000 and DCS Operational Experience – preferred.
Work Permit Writing Experience – preferred.
Experience that demonstrates strong behaviors in safety and environmental performance.
Experience with relevant unit operations both batch and continuous processes – preferred.
Experience with minor maintenance conducted by operations – preferred.
