As a CNC Master Scheduler, you will play a critical role in coordinating and optimizing our CNC machining operations. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of orders while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
A few of the key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain production schedules for CNC machining operations based on customer needs, capacity constraints, on-time delivery, and lead times. Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to prioritize jobs and allocate resources effectively. Monitor and analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, optimize processes, and improve lead times. Coordinate with external suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components. Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to provide updates on production schedules and address any issues or concerns. Implement best practices for inventory management, including inventory optimization and control. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness. A few Qualifications we hope you possess: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operation, preferably in a CNC machining environment. Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and production planning Principles. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and scheduling software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Experience in a multiple work center environment, preferably 12 or more.
