Project Description: As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual aesthetics of our digital products. Your creative vision and problem-solving skills will be crucial in translating user needs and business goals into intuitive and visually appealing designs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation, usability, and consistency across our product portfolio. Required: Education: Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Proven experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving abilities, and finished products. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software. Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to cross-functional teams. Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and agile development processes. Experience with responsive and mobile design. Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Passion for creating delightful user experiences and a keen eye for detail. User-Centered Design: Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points. Translate insights into user-centered design solutions that enhance product usability and satisfaction. Conceptualization and Ideation: Generate innovative design concepts and ideas through sketching, wireframing, and prototyping. Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and iterate on these concepts. Visual Design: Create polished, high-fidelity designs that align with the brand's visual identity. Design user interfaces, icons, graphics, and other visual elements to ensure a cohesive and engaging user experience. Interaction Design: Develop interactive prototypes and user flows to demonstrate product functionality and behavior. Ensure seamless navigation and intuitive interaction patterns. Usability Testing: Plan and conduct usability tests to gather user feedback and identify areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to refine designs and enhance the overall user experience. Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other team members to align design objectives with business goals. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure the successful execution of design projects. Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides to promote consistency and scalability of design elements across products. Accessibility: Ensure that designs meet accessibility standards, making digital products inclusive and usable for all users. Additional Information: Develops software with a paired partner to deliver user stories that contribute to a valuable working software product, often operating as the lead partner. Develops automated unit tests with working software to confirm software functionality conformance to functional and non-functional requirements. Performs exploratory testing to confirm application execution and to identify software deficiencies not covered by automated testing. Reviews ongoing production software operations and troubleshoots production issues. Develops automated functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and to detect regression defects.
