You will need toaccurately and expeditiously process material, working closely with many groups to ensure proper execution of experiments. You will be the first responder to area inefficiencies,i.e.lots not tracking/staging, data notdown loading, tool lockups, and lot processed verification.Youradditionalresponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:WIP ManagementYou will administer the Probe floor, leading requests and ensuring wafers move through the production flow. This will require:Managing a request-based work systemFacilitating wafer management and administration by splitting/merging/shipping lots and leading lot attributesSetup and change lot processing as the need arises by production and engineering requirementsTransferring silicon to other Boise teams and Micron global sites.Resolving issues with problem lotsDocumenting lot status and history as the need arisesInspecting lots toidentifycurrent defect and processing problemsDisposition scrap and reclaim materialin accordance withproceduresWorkstation EfficiencyYou will help to meet Probe execution goals including cycle time, queue time, and response time by:Supervising status of priority workstations throughout the 12-hour shift to ensure machines are running as intendedEnsuring status of request-based work is being updated, and all relevant lot information is noted and passed down to next shiftCoveringadditionalworkstations and tasks during staffing shortagesQuality and InnovationYou willparticipatein continuous improvement and problem-solving efforts. This will include:Sharing ideas and look for process improvementsIdentifyingand help resolve training opportunities and procedure gapsIdentifyingarea inefficiencies and works on resolving them through CIP, area suggestions or trainingUsing best known methods, incorporating them into standard processesCommunication/CollaborationYou will provide clear communication of the status and issues on the Probe floor to ensure efficient operationby:Advising partners of process deviations, lot delays and issuesCommunicate pass down of shift activities, problems, and action-itemsPartners with Shift Operations tosupervisedown tools, staging of lots, tracking issues, and other items that would prevent work from beingEstablish trusting, working relationships across teams toaccomplishcritical business objectivesSafetyYou will work to ensure a safe environment for bothyourselfand your colleagues by:Following all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulationsReporting all safety-related concerns or problemsimmediatelyto theappropriate individual(Security Control, Supervision, etc.)Performing area safety audits andsubmitgood catches to keep others safeQualificationsAbility to optimally communicate, both in writing and verballyAbility to accurately read and interpret instructions to improve area efficiencyDemonstrated ability to manage time and priorities in a multi-tasking environment and work with minimal supervisionAn ability to drive improvement throughidentifyinggaps, troubleshooting basic problems, and resolving root causes.Basic understanding of MS Office,including:Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and ExcelAn interest in working in a constantly evolving environment where a desire to continuously learn and improve is a requirementFlexibility to work any shift, which includes weekends, nights, and holidaysThe willingness to work overtime as needed orrequired.Ability to work in a cleanroom or an electro-static discharge (ESD) sensitive environmentWorking Hours:We are a manufacturing company thatoperates24 hours/day each day of the year. Our shifts are 12 hours, with work weeks that alternate between three and four days. The shifts typically run from 6:30 am – 6:30 pm for the day shift and from 6:30 pm – 6:30 am for the night shiftEducationWe strongly prefer atwo-yearAssociatesdegree or higher, a degree including Algebra and English.
