We are looking for a highly motivated Principal Hardware System Architect with experience in architecting and deploying GPU hardware and systems at scale on clusters in production. As part of the Architecture organization, we work with the most sophisticated computing hardware and software, driving the latest breakthroughs in deep learning and machine learning with NVIDIA's enterprise and data center customers. What You'll Be Doing:
Contribute to future aspects of our GPU hardware and system architectures.

Design and implement hardware system and cluster architecture that run demanding hyperscale distributed workloads in a cloud native environment

Cross-disciplinary role driving Architecture/Hardware/Verification/Software/Application co-design collaboration and execution.

Design and deploy the system / cluster that strikes the right balance between requirements imposed by all these teams, while optimizing for time-to-market.

Review upstream product requirements, define downstream requirements, build specification documents, conduct technical reviews.

Build processes and methodologies that can improve efficiency and quality of result.

What We Need To See:
BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.

15+ years of work-related experience in hardware and system architecture

Experienced, hard-working engineer with creative initiative and a consistent track record of developing sophisticated HW systems from initial definition throughout the project cycle

Comfortable working through ambiguity

Demonstrates deep understanding of system-level impact of design choices and good judgment in negotiating tradeoffs

Consistent record of leading complex system designs and closely collaborating with a variety of teams and subject areas, including mechanical, electrical, firmware, networking, and software engineering teams, to name a few

Team player with outstanding conversational & written communication, negotiation & presentation skills

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Skilled in architecting and deploying AI hardware and system at scale on clusters in production.

Able to think creatively to debug and solve complex problems.

Experience working in a globally distributed team.

Knowledges about hyper scale data center infrastructure.

Experiences with liquid cooling design, validation and deployment in data center.

The base salary range is 268,000 USD - 414,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
