Principal Financial Analyst As a Financial Analyst, you will work for a company that invests in ways to tell stories, view trends, and diagnose results in a more compelling and visual nature. You will have the opportunity to partner with business customers on driving strategic business direction that leads to sustainable performance and you will be asked to challenge our current well-managed processes to be more proactive, effective and efficient. Financial Analysts perform financial data analysis in preparing Profit & Loss or other statements and frequently build reports for higher level associates; provide management and business clients with project statuses; perform reporting and analysis to support presentation and ad-hoc requests.

Articulate outcomes of analysis and relevant insights
Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to senior audiences
Principal Analyst Responsibilities: Develop the Annual Budget, Monthly Financial Forecast and the Long-Term Financial Plan
Develop financial models and analyses to support growth of the business and strategic initiatives
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including areas of revenue, expenses and capital expenditures
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
Analyze complex financial information and reports to support accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual Reporting and Analysis
Identify industry trends and insights pertaining to competitor's strategies and/or relative financial performance (e.g. peer benchmarking)
Perform ad hoc analysis using data retrievals from internal financial systems and external market databases and package insights into clear and concise presentations
Work closely with the business leads to help identify areas and processes for driving efficiencies
Implement and work with Business Intelligence Tools and Dashboard reports
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or military experience
At least 3 years experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering) or military experience
Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance, or Economics
Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CFM
4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Google Slides skills.
Strong SQL and Python skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
3+ years experience in financial services, banking or technology industries
3+ years experience partnering with senior leaders and internal stakeholders
