Aptive Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center. As a Primary Care Physician, you will provide comprehensive family practice consultative services to Veterans in a team-oriented outpatient setting. Your responsibilities will include assessment, diagnostic work-up, clinic intervention, and patient education. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health history, physical examination, and diagnostic evaluations. Provide patient education on preventive care, treatment options, and management of chronic conditions. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests as appropriate, and recommend treatment plans or referrals. Record and document all patient encounters, including health appraisals, clinical assessments, treatment decisions, and plans of care, utilizing the electronic comprehensive patient record system (CPRS). Ensure timely completion of all documentation on the day of the patient encounter. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care and facilitate seamless transitions between primary care and specialty services. Maintain compliance with VA policies, procedures, and standards of care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities. Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine. Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. United States citizenship. Certification in VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association. Board certification by the American Board of Family Practice.
