Hourly Rate: $24.06
Available shifts:
1st 7am-3pm Monday-Friday
2nd 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday
3rd 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday
These are NOT rotating shifts. Candidates must be willing to work any of the above shifts. Must be willing to work overtime, to include weekends and holidays. The Franklin, OH Flexibles plant has openings for a Pouching Assistant. This position reports directly to the Department Manager.
What You'll Be Doing: Collaborating closely with departments and plant teams to complete basic manufacturing Packs product into boxes, retrieves product from equipment and operates machinery Making incremental process adjustments, monitor and report quality of manufactured products Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills to setup new production jobs Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area Assists other departments as needed We'd love to hear from you if: You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring Are able to arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record Have basic computer skills Ability to work either 8 or 12-hour shifts/OT/weekends/holidays Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and use roll handling equipment Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits. *Benefits listed below are for employees located in the U.S. Specific benefits and wellbeing programs may vary depending on your location (within the U.S. or global), or if you are a union employee.
