Plant Manager

Summary: Operate plant equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and specifications. Adhere to safety policies and procedures while consistently producing high-quality products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the production team to determine material requirements and specifications for production orders. Set machine adjustments and operate machinery to mix concrete and produce products according to specifications. Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met, removing items that do not meet QC standards. Perform adjustments, repairs, and preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned. Ensure all safety devices are in working order throughout the plant. Operate forklift as needed and maintain a clean and organized machine area. Perform daily cleaning in the work area and on equipment. Assist the QC team in maintaining high-quality products through measurements, weighing, gathering samples, and conducting tests as needed. Undertake additional duties related to the manufacturing process as required. Qualifications / Experience and Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude required. Experience operating construction machinery or equipment. Previous experience in a production-based environment. Leadership experience in leading a team. Work Environment: - Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and hear. Ability to climb stairs and ladders, working at elevation. Ability to lift up to 60 pounds to shoulder height and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
