A growing local firm needing an experienced PI paralegal to join their team. If you're needing to make a change, this is it! Responsibilities and Duties Draft letters and other forms of correspondence. FOIA Requests. Obtain and organize documentation required at different stages of pre-litigation. Coordinate with Investigator to obtain photos of scene and witness statements when needed. Process PIP/Medpay. Obtain prior injury/medical and claims/lawsuits history. Review all medical records. Maintain regular contact with clients. Prepare notice letters to Medicare/Medicaid and lienholders. Draft and send out demand packages; monitor receipt and processing of demand. Prepare closing statements, check account balances, and process disbursement. Qualifications and Skills 5 years of paralegal experience(background in PI work) Ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver results, and maintain quality while working under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Ability to work effectively in collaboration with others. Demonstrated proficiency and experience with a broad range of computer software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Strong research skills and excellent oral and written communication skills. *Benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plan options, PTO, and professional development opportunities.
