Responsibilities
• Evaluates patients, completes initial evaluation within time standards• Applies diagnostic and prognostic testing for musculoskeletal conditions• Performs therapeutic interventions to address rehabilitation needs• Establishes treatment plan with measurable goals and time frames• Selects and implements therapy activities to meet goals• Consults with rehabilitation team to select appropriate activities/programs• Documents patient care activities, evaluations, and progress notes• Participates in personal, professional, and program development• Assists in training students and other personnel• Adheres to professional code of ethics and regulatory requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred• Previous direct patient care experience• Prior use of electronic medical records• Physical Therapist licensure or license from participating state• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
