As a Permit Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the project lifecycle, ensuring that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and ability to navigate the permit process will contribute directly to the success of our projects.
Permit Coordinator Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and manage all aspects of the permitting process for construction projects
-Research and obtain permits, licenses, and approvals from relevant local, state, and federal agencies
-Ensure compliance with all permit requirements and regulations
-Communicate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies to provide updates on the permit status
-Maintain accurate and organized records of all permits and approvals
Permit Coordinator Essential Job Functions:
-Review project plans and specifications to determine the necessary permits and approvals
-Prepare and submit permit applications, including all required documentation
-Follow up with regulatory agencies to track the progress of permit applications
-Address any issues or concerns raised by regulatory agencies and take appropriate action to resolve them
-Coordinate with internal teams to provide necessary information for permit applications
Permit Coordinator Skills:
-2-4 years of experience with permitting in the construction industry
-Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal permit requirements and regulations
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and permit tracking software
Permit Coordinator Benefits:
-Competitive salary range of $50,000 - $70,000, commensurate with experience
