Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with strong customer service, communication, and sales skills to join our team as an Outside Sales Representative . We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956 and was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in 2023 by Arkansas Business. More information about us can be found below or on our website at ABOUT THE POSITION Outside Rental Sales functions as part of the Rental Team and are responsible for making sales calls, renting short term rental equipment and generating new customers .
In this role you will:
Rent Short Term Rental Equipment by being aggressive on new construction job sites, making sales calls in person and via phone, searching our new and different applications for rental equipment. Promote the Company's Resources through answering questions on products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms Enhance the Customer Experience by consulting with them to resolve problems and provide ongoing support Establish New Accounts by being in the field and focusing on new industrial customers COMPENSATION/BENEFITS Competitive Compensation - [Salary Plus Commission Plan] Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurances and several supplemental benefits) Generous PTO Plan Paid Holidays 401k with company match REQUIREMENTS Minimum 1-3 years sales related experience Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record High School Diploma/Equivalent with relevant experience - College Degree preferred Outstanding customer service skills Ability to present and sell at all customer levels Ability to work in fast-paced environment while multi-tasking to meet customers' needs Strong verbal and written communication skills SKILLS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS MAY INCLUDE: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to organize and independently manage time RELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE : Account Manager, Territory Manager, Territory Sales, Counter Sales, Rental Sales, Parts Sales, Customer Service Representative
