Road Ranger, a multi-state Travel Center company, is seeking to add outgoing and driven Outside Sales to the growing Fleet Sales Department at its Schaumburg headquarters! T he Fleet Salesperson is responsible for contacting and working with potential Fleet customers in the assigned market. As this is primarily an outside sales position, the individual must be comfortable with spending significant time on the road and on the telephone, making unsolicited calls to potential customers. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for daily cold calls to customers Promote and market the Company's Fleet program throughout the assigned region to attract, retain, and grow fleet sales Responsible for following up with customers to obtain contracts and provide additional information Provide support to existing customers Field customer calls, resolve issues, and forward to appropriate personnel as necessary Assist with the update of customer information in databases Provide a culture of customer satisfaction with new and existing fleet customers Assist in the development and maintenance of reports within the department Education or Experience : 3 or more years' experience in sales, preferably business-to-business Key Competencies Valid driver's license and ability to regularly travel on Company business Second language fluency may be required based on assigned area Strong relationship building and business development skills Excellent communication and presentation skills, verbal and written Excellent customer service and listening skills High energy, stamina, and resourcefulness Ability to create and work with databases and Excel (including pivot tables) Driven to accomplish goals and objectives Clear, common sense thinker with critical reasoning skills Able to obtain information, evaluate alternatives, seek advice, make recommendations, and take action Road Ranger is a proud equal opportunity employer.
