Optometric Technician

Our office is looking for a part-time optometric technician.
What is an optometric technician?
-An optometric technician is someone who assists the eye doctor (Optometrist) in providing care to patients, performs clerical duties, and ensures that patients receive the best quality of care.
We are looking for a candidate that is a quick learner, energetic, and good with people. We prefer someone with some experience but we are open to training the right candidate if he/she shows eagerness and flexibility to learn new skills.
Responsibilities include:
Provide superb customer service to every patient, whether in person, over the phone, or in emails
Accepting payments
Using diagnostic instruments (lensometers, keratometers, and retinal imaging)
Maintaining/cleaning ophthalmic equipment
Verifying/billing insurances
Coordinating/scheduling future appointments
Multitask while maintaining close attention to detail
Employment Type: Part-Time
Salary: $ 14.00 18.00 Per Hour
