Responsibilities
• Provide effective leadership to the store staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.• Oversee the inventory control process, including receiving, stocking, and conducting regular audits.• Ensure strict adherence to all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and storage of firearms and ammunition.• Champion a customer-focused culture, ensuring that all customers receive top-notch service.• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies that drive sales and revenue growth.• Maintain a secure and safe environment for staff and customers.• Assist in budget planning and control operational expenses to meet financial targets.• Identify training needs for staff and conduct training sessions.• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to increase efficiency.
Requirements
• Proven experience in retail operations management, preferably in a gun shop or firearms-related industry.• Thorough understanding of firearms, ammunition, and related accessories.• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business goals.• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.• Strong organizational and time management abilities.• Meticulous attention to detail.• Effective problem-solving skills.• Proficiency in using computer systems, point-of-sale software, and inventory management tools.• Maintain the highest level of ethics and integrity when handling firearms and sensitive information.
