Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Journeyman Operations Management Analyst , supporting the AFLCMC/OZJ (HPSI) Program, Wright Patterson AFB, OH. AFLCMC/OZJ consists of one or more multi-functional teams staffed to complete a specific task, project, or program. AFLCMC/OZJ is currently providing acquisition support to the F-35 and Air Force-Product Lifecycle Management Capability Support Office (AF-PLM CSO) programs.
Duties includ e, but not limited to: Interact with lateral organizations or any external agencies required including base facility, personnel, security, computer support, foreign disclosure, foreign travel, public affairs and the building managers to facilitate uninterrupted day-to-day operations of the organization. Identify, analyze, and evaluate actual and/or potential problem areas in OM activities, drawing from trend data and knowledge of the organization. Keep senior management informed of progress of programs and advises of any significant developments that may impact mission. Provide instructions and training to staff members and action officers on procedures for proper submission and tracking of staff packages in MS SharePoint and the SOCCER systems. Ensure OM suspenses, electronic staff summary sheets (eSSS), staff packages, operating instructions, and awards. Perform self-inspections and present detailed and comprehensive reports with any corrective actions taken or required. The Contractor shall ensure complete and quality resolution of discrepancies. Meet with key customers and coordinating officials to assess customer satisfaction, explain organization policy and procedures, and resolve significant problems that arise. Ensure subordinate groups within the organization are provided customer guidance and training. Support special projects and initiatives and perform special assignments. Support includes identifying the need for special projects and initiating milestones and goals. Evaluate reports by analyzing facts, perform appropriate research and prepare detailed responses. Monitor and evaluate activities to determine compliance with applicable regulations, directives, procedures, and policies. Review policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design for the staff and suggest revisions as necessary to eliminate work problems, barriers to mission accomplishment, promote team building, and implement quality improvements in response to concerns with regulatory compliance, and/or customer requirements. Clearance : Active Secret Clearance.
Education: Bachelor's degree
Years' experience: (3) to ten (10) years of experience
Preferred Qualifications: Education: Master's degree
Years' experience: three (3) years of experience.
